Joanne Yang is a data analyst and program evaluator for the PMHP. Her research interests lie in socio-behavioral determinants of chronic disease and mental health. She has previously worked at UCSF as a research data analyst, supporting projects in homeless education, adolescent health, and school based health centers. Joanne received her BA in Public Health and MPH in Epidemiology & Biostatistics from UC Berkeley. Her goal is to use her data science and epidemiology knowledge to support research that will be used to fund programs and policies improving public health.
